Welcome to Syracuse’s First Annual Table Hockey Tournament and Championship, Saturday, August 29, 2026!

Location: The American Legion, 8529 Smokey Hollow Road, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.

Date and Time: August 29, 2026. Doors open at 10 a.m. The tournament will begin at 10:45 a.m.

Fees: The fee is $30 USD / $41 CDN. You can pay via PayPal, Venmo or Apple Pay. Canadians – you can pay Carlo Bossio (Montréal) in cash or e-transfer. Whether you are coming from the USA or Canada, please email for details.

Discounts: Bring a tournament quality Coleco S-slot, Carlo Bossio or SoHo made game to the tournament and we will give you a $10 discount in the currency you make payment.

Registration Opens: June 15, 2026.

Registration Closes: August 15, 2026. There will not be registration on the day of the event.

T-Shirt Size: Every player that registers by July 15th for Saturday’s event will receive a Large T-Shirt. If you would like a different size shirt please let us know when you pay your fee. Extra t-shirts are $15 USD or $20 CDN per shirt.

Tournament Format:

Round Robin – The first round of play will be round robin format (you play everyone in your group). If we have 20 or less players, everyone will be in one group. If there are more than 20 players, we will break into evenly divided groups. Everyone will make the playoffs.

Playoffs – At the conclusion of round robin play, players will be placed in 8 player playoff brackets. Please note, some brackets may have more than 8 players to allow everyone to participate in a playoff bracket.

It boasted 64 players, five tournaments on three different manufacturer's games (Stiga, SoHo Pro and Classic, and SuperChexx AKA "bubble hockey"), with a Friday night social with guest appearance by Don Luce, Buffalo Sabres alumnus, and Adam Page, three time ParaOlympic Sled Hockey Champion. All of which was made possible by the Buffalo-Niagara Sports Commission; Buffalo RiverWorks (venue); Innovative Concepts in Entertainment (ICE) makers of SuperChexx; Len Mecca, Rod Warriors Table Hockey; Carlo Bossio, Canada Table Hockey; and John Fayolle, Owner of SoHo Tournament Table Hockey games. Greg founded the WTHA to help revive a dying industry, as numerous manufacturers have gone out of business over the decades, to promote table hockey as a competitive sport, and bring together the hockey community, which includes and is not limited to promoting all table hockey manufacturers, artists, craftsmen, event operators, players, collectors, and more. All of which contributed to defining the WTHA's mission to “educate, develop, preserve and promote table hockey."
