Buffalo’s Table Hockey Festival Champions, 2019

Buffalo, New York – December 1, 2019. (This story will be updated in the coming days).

Buffalo’s Table Hockey Festival, November 22-24, 2019 featured four different table hockey games (or models) produced by three manufacturers:

  • Playoff and NHL Stanley Cup Hockey by STIGA AB, Sweden
  • SuperChexx by Innovative Concepts in Entertainment (ICE), Inc., NY
  • Classic and Pro (two models) by SoHo Table Hockey, LLC, NY

On Saturday, 23 November, tournament play began in sequential order beginning with Stiga’s table hockey game using international players in this sanctioned event.

On Sunday, 24 November, playoffs began for each table hockey game featured and culminated with the Multi-Model Championship.

STIGA PlayoffsMichel Decarie, Montréal, QC Canada won the first table hockey tournament featuring Stiga’s Table Hockey game early on Sunday, November 24 by defeating Eugene Kurz, Toronto, Canada.

For third place, Carlo Bossio, Montréal, QC defeated Dean Moore, Pittsburgh, PA.

SoHo Pro PlayoffsPatrick Côté, Montréal, QC, Canada won the SoHo Pro playoffs by defeating Carlo Bossio, Montréal, QC, Canada.

For third place, Michel Decarie, Montréal, QC Canada defeated John Fayolle, Manhattan, NY, USA.

SoHo Classic PlayoffsCarlo “King” Bossio, Montréal, QC, Canada defeated Patrick Côté, Montréal, QC, Canada.

For third place, Michel Decarie, Montréal, QC, Canada defeated Thierri Douville, Montréal, QC, Canada.

SuperChexx (Bubble Hockey) PlayoffsJeremy Davis, Milford, Connecticut, USA defeated Mark Wojtkiewicz, Lancaster, NY, USA.

For third place, John Gaffney, Mount Holly, New Jersey, USA defeated Carlo Bossio, Montréal, QC, Canada.
